Beginning on May 27th, 2025 crews are scheduled to begin natural gas installation on River Road near Rockaway Valley Road. This utility work has the potential to cause intermittent traffic delays for drivers who are traveling eastbound or westbound on Rockaway Valley Road. 

The utility crew will then continue the installation on River Road and proceed throughout the Oak Hills neighborhood. This work has the potential to last several weeks and may cause traffic delays or detours within the Oak Hills neighborhood. Residents of River Road, Sunrise Road, Forrest Road, Berton Road, Overlook Road and Rosewood Lane should plan for extra travel time until the completion of this project. 

BTPD will have officers on scene each day assisting motorists with any traffic-related issues.
