Lake Tumble – In Dam Assessment

The Township has been made aware of the conditions at Lake Tumble-In and will be conducting some preliminary work to assess the conditions of the dam.

The work will be exploratory in nature to pinpoint the issue causing the lower water levels, including the removal of the trees on the dam. Once that is determined, our Engineers will be in a position to make their recommendations as to the repairs.

Tree clearing work began this week in order that our engineering team can begin the assessment next week so when you see our crews on the dam, you’ll know what’s happening. Once the repair work is complete, the area of distrurbance will be restored. We will provide updates as the work progresses.
