TAX BILL UPDATE
The Township is still awaiting final numbers from the State of New Jersey before our bills can be printed and mailed out to our residents. As a result the August 1st due date has been delayed. You will have a minimum of 25 days to pay your 3rd quarter taxes once the bills have been mailed. Please check the website periodically for updates regarding this.

GREEN TEAM NEWS
SNEAKERS/ATHLETIC SHOES
Please consider recycling/repurposing your gently used sneakers and athletic shoes. The Township is partnering with the MORE Foundation and has a collection box in the Municipal Building. Since beginning this partnership the Township has filled three boxes.
Donating shoes keeps them out of the landfill. The proceeds from the shoes help MORE plant thousands of trees each year, which offsets carbon in the atmosphere.

The Rockaway Valley Garden Club generally meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Meetings begin at 10:00 am and are held at the Boonton Township Municipal Building, 155 Powerville Rd. Guests are always welcome and we encourage you to join us to see what we are about.
