Coronavirus Update

Since June 25, 2020 the number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the Township remain at 109 cases. We are working closely with our partners at the Morris County Health Management and Office of Emergency Management. Park Update

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED IN ALL TOWNSHIP PARKS

-Refrain from using parks or trails if you are exhibiting virus symptoms.

-Follow CDC’s guidance on personal hygiene prior to and during use of parks or trails.

-Observe CDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of 6 feet from other individuals at all times. If this is not possible, users should find an alternate location or depart that space.

-Understand that public restrooms are not available but have portable restrooms (please bring personal sanitary supplies for yourself).

PRIMARY ELECTION VOTING

All voting will be done by mail for the upcoming primary election on Tuesday, July 7th

All ballots have been mailed by the Morris County Clerk's Office. For questions please refer to the link below:

You must return your ballot by mail or at one of the VBM Drop Boxes -closest locations to Boonton Township are:

Morris County Records & Administration Building

(outside front entrance)

Rockaway Township Municipal Building

65 Mount Hope Road

(outside Police Department)

Montville Township Municipal Building

195 Change Bridge Road

(in front of Municipal Building)

You cannot drop your mail-in ballot at the polling place (Municipal Building) on Election Day

please be sure to wear a mask when entering the building
