WHEN THE SNOW FALLS

Please make sure that you or your contractor do not shovel, blow or plow snow from your driveway into the road.  It is important to keep the roads clear of snow.  Our plow drivers do their best to keep from piling the snow in front of the mailbox, but clearing that area is the homeowner's responsibility.  And remember - there is no overnight parking permitted on any road/street within the Township.

In order to avoid having the edge of your property (lawn, curbing, etc.) damaged please consider placing some 3’ high markers along the edge of your   property.  This provides a reference point for the plow drivers while clearing the roadways.

Tri Town Little League - Spring 2018 registration is now being held for children ages 5 to 14.  Register online at www.tritownll.org/registration

 FEBRUARY 13th -the Rockaway Valley Garden Club will hold a free program titled "Creating a Cottage Garden". Diane Lattanzio a Master Gardener of Morris County through Rutgers Cooperative Extension will present.  If you ever dream of a lush, colorful, informal garden filled with old-fashioned flowers, this program is for you.  The charm of a cottage garden is characterized by a profusion of plants, color, fragrance and a little bit of whimsy.  Essential elements and simple steps to achieve the look of a cottage garden will be presented. Thre program starts at 11:00 am at the Boonton Township Municipal Building but you are welcome to come at 9:30 for coffee & our 10:00 business meeting.

0 The Rockaway Valley Garden Club generally meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Meetings begin at 10:00 am and are held at the Boonton Township Municipal Building, 155 Powerville Rd. Guests are always welcome and we encourage you to join us to see what we are about.
