Santa will be visiting with help from BTFD

on December 19th starting at Noon

BTFD just received word from the North Pole that Santa Clause and his helpers will be passing through Boonton Twp on Sunday December 19th starting at 12pm.

BTFD will be escorting him on the Fire Truck through town and handing out boxes of sweet treats to kids who come outside to see us.

Just a reminder, the event will begin at noon, but there are no specified times throughout the afternoon for him to be in each neighborhood.

Listen for the sirens and when you see the flashing lights come out to say hi!

Book Club

Our December meeting will be December 14, 2021 at 7 pm in Town Hall to discuss:

it was recommended everyone read a Mary Higgins Clarke holiday book. There are many to choose from “Silent Night”, “Deck The Halls”, “All through the Night”, “Santa Cruise” or “The Magical Christmas Horse”.

It’ll be a quick discussion so we can have our Holiday party.

Remember to bring a slightly used or new book that you liked wrapped and we will have a Present Swap/Steal if you want to join in.

Also you can bring light refreshments or small munchies for all to enjoy if you are comfortable with that also.

A Message From the Boonton Township Police Department

LOCK IT OR LOSE IT

BTPD is again reminding all Boonton Township to keep their cars locked at all times. The Boonton Township Police Department is currently investigating several incidents which occurred this week in the Township involving 12 burglarized motor vehicles and one stolen car.

In all instances the vehicles were left unlocked. The safest way to prevent and deter these crimes in our community is to simply lock your doors. These matters are currently under investigation by the Boonton Township Police Department Detective Bureau.

Anyone with information or potentially relevant home surveillance footage is encouraged to contact BTPD at 973-402-4022.
