2/19 - PRESIDENTS' DAY - Municipal Offces Closed

2/22 - Curbside Recycling

WHEN THE SNOW FALLS

Please make sure that you or your contractor do not shovel, blow or plow snow from your driveway into the road.  It is important to keep the roads clear of snow.  Our plow drivers do their best to keep from piling the snow in front of the mailbox, but clearing that area is the homeowner's responsibility.  And remember - there is no overnight parking permitted on any road/street within the Township.

In order to avoid having the edge of your property (lawn, curbing, etc.) damaged please consider placing some 3’ high markers along the edge of your   property.  This provides a reference point for the plow drivers while clearing the roadways.

GREEN TEAM TIPS

Recycling Hints:

1. Recycle your plastic bags at Kings and Acme. Look for the receptacle in front of the store. When grocery shopping use a tote bag when every  possible.

2. Cardboard must be flatten when being put out for Curbside Pickup or taken to the Recycling Depot

3.  Plastic Bottle caps go into the trash.  Make sure all bottles are clean and empty of fluids when  you put them in your recycling container.

4. Curbside recycling must be put in a plastic can. The Township Does not accept curbside recycling  in plastic bags.

5.    Only recycle the  Top part of the  Pizza  Box. The bottom  part which is greasy goes into the  trash.

6.    Household alkaline batteries go into the trash.  Only Rechargeable  batteries have to  berecycled.  The Township has a collection box at Town Hall.
